Capillaries for Roche's LightCycler(R) made from polycarbonate with caps made from PP for use in Roche PCR machines.

The Genaxxon polycarbonate capillaries are a complete new development that can be used like the original Roche capillaries without or only minor changes in your PCR-protocol. For your convenience Genaxxon offers a starter kit with 192 capillaries (2 x 96). The capillaries are shipped together with caps and a carousel optimised for the polycarbonate capillaries fitting the LightCycler(R) from Roche.

- The plastic capillaries are a convenient and cheap alternative for glass capillaries.
- The polycarbonate capillaries are much more stable, thus reducing the risk of injuries
  or breakages.
- The capillaries can be cut with a scissor for recovery of PCR products.

Description

Crack’n Size is a fast and simple system to determine the size of inserts and cloning efficiencies. Preparation of plasmids and time consuming digestions are now unnecessary. Crack’n Size can be used to screen insert sizes of high-copy and low-copy E. coli plasmids. Screening of clones may be achieved within one hour or less by agarose gel electrophesis.

The Genaxxon DF-Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase complex exactly following the original procedure for the isolation of DNA polymerases first published by Kaledin et al. (Biokhimia 1980-45, 644-651). The buffers are optimised for high yield amplification of DNA-templates. The special purification procedure guarantees Taq-Polymerase free of any DNA impurities, especially free of DNA from the conservative region of the 16S ribosomal gene.
